What was your favourite thing to do in Vancouver?
Quick note: Some of the links below are affiliates, the thoughts and opinions are all my own. I’m always excited to share my favourite things with you, save you money when I can, and in so doing may collect a small commission at no cost to you. It’s a great way that you can support my blog.
Emma: I liked the walk in Lynn Canyon Park the best, although I might like it even more if we go again on a cooler day. My other favourite is Vashti Rose Ice Cream. I always try one of their vegan creations and don’t feel sick after eating one of my favourite foods. A win all around.
Jack: I really enjoyed the Richmond Night Market, although it was a very busy and loud. I liked trying all the different foods and checking out the vendors. My favourite food of the evening was the mango sticky rice and my coconut drink. I wanted to try a dessert but was too full.
Shelley: My favourite place is Stanley Park, there is so much to see and do and I love that there is a big park right next to downtown. We went swimming at Second Beach Pool on our last trip and had a picnic with a great view of the harbor. Definitely one of the best ways to spend a day in Vancouver. We’ve also done the train ride with kids at Halloween and enjoyed the Aquarium. I also tried out the GuideAlong Audio Tour for Vancouver, while we were there and the information on Stanley Park was our favourite. For more on our experience with Guide Along, check out this post.
I also really enjoyed Flyover Canada. I wasn’t sure what to expect with this interactive ride, but it exceeded my expectations. It was a great way to see all the beautiful scenery across the country.
Robin: I enjoyed walking and exploring around downtown. It was nice to wonder around Gastown and it’s steam clock and restaurants. I enjoyed our dinner at Steam Works pub and walking around Canada Place and the Conference Centre. I also really enjoyed our relaxing day in Stanley Park with the outdoor pool and picnic with a view under the shade of a large oak tree.
