What is your favourite thing to do in Tofino/Ucluelet?
Emma: One of my favourite things is the food in Tofino and getting to try a new place every time we visit. This time, I tried the Surfside Grill at Pacific Sands and had dinner at Shelter, and both were fantastic. I recommend the burger and fries from the Surfside Grill and the truffle fries and caesar salad from Shelter. I also love surfing with my dad and the warm outdoor showers by the beach at Pacific Sands.

Jack: I really loved the food on our last trip to Tofino, the Surfside Grill and Shelter were both delicious. My other favourite was the day we hiked to the lookout at Cox Bay, it was steep and muddy, but the view from the top was worth it. I also liked climbing on the rocks and watching the sunset from Pettinger Point.

Shelley: Nothing compares with the beaches on the West Coast, the waves crashing against the sandy shore, surfers, sunsets, and long walks. My favourite beaches are Incinerator Rock, Cox Bay and Tonquin Beach in Tofino. In Ucluelet, I love walking on the boardwalk that follows the rocky shoreline on the Wild Pacific Trail. After working up an appetite, there are some amazing restaurants to try in both Tofino and Ucluelet.

Robin: What I love most about being in Tofino is experiencing the power of the ocean. Whether that is walking along the beach, listening to the pounding surf or being able to get out in the waves. Feeling the pull of the undercurrent, the power of all that moving water and being just a small part of a powerful ocean. I especially love when I can get my family out in the waves with me to try surfing, boogie boarding, or just playing in the waves. It is a place that always fills me with energy.
