What was your favourite thing to do on Pender Island?
Emma: My favourite was going to Pender Chocolates, trying the amazing hot chocolate and seeing my friends who happen to work there. I loved exploring the beaches and tidepools and was surprised at how many fossils I found.

Jack: My favourite stop on Pender was Amy’s Bread Shed for chocolate croissants. My favourite thing to do was sit on a wooden deck that overlooked the ocean and draw. When I looked down at everyone on the beach, I saw a deer climbing over the rock to get to the other side of the beach.

Shelley: My favourites were the beachcombing, campfires, sunsets and the beautiful ocean views we saw all over the island. I also loved the fun food stands and our stop at Slow Roast Coffee on our last day.

Robin: I enjoyed the roadside stands with all the homemade food. They all had fresh goods that were very tasty and reasonably priced. My favourite was the cheesecake fridge that Shelley and I visited for an Oreo cheesecake. It was delicious and nice to share on our solo exploration of the island.
