Family Favourites
What was your favourite thing to do in Paris?
Emma: My favourites were both around visiting the Seine. The first on our first night in Paris taking the river boat tour and seeing the Eiffel Tower for the first time at night. My second time was having a picnic beside the Seine and getting to draw some of the historic buildings across the water.
Jack: My favourites from the trip were on my first night in Paris on the river boat cruise and watching the Eiffel Tower light up. The best view (although it was a lot of stairs) was from the Arch de Triomphe, looking out at the Paris skyline. My favourite day in Paris had to be Disneyland Paris with Pirates of the Caribbean and Buzz Lightyear as my favourite rides. For our complete guide to visiting Disneyland Paris, check out this post.
Shelley: I can’t pick just one favourite from Paris. I loved being on the Seine, whether it was our river cruise or picnic at the edge of the water on our last night. In terms of attractions my favourite was the Louvre. We had many of the rooms to ourselves by visiting at opening and I could have spent the entire day there taking in all the art. My favourite food was the flower gelato from Amorino, it was delicious and beautiful.
Robin: My favourite memory from Paris was when we walked to dinner in the rain and got a lot wetter than we had expected. The kind waitress handed us some paper towels so we could dry off before dinner. I started with a hot chocolate and went from there enjoying our dinner at Le Paradis du Fruit.
