Explore the Spirit Trail and Its Mask Forest

One of Harrison Hot Springs’ unique attractions is the Spirit Trail, a serene forested path adorned with hand-crafted masks. As you wander through this trail, you’ll encounter over 70 masks created by a local artist, each with its own story and character. The trail offers a peaceful retreat and a touch of mystique, making it a favourite among both locals and visitors. It is mostly flat and is an easy walk that takes about a half hour. We learned about this trail at the Visitor Centre and it was a favourite among our group.

Discover the Original Hot Springs

The village’s namesake hot springs have been a source of rejuvenation for centuries. While the original source is not open to the public you can still walk out and see it taking in some beautiful artwork along the way. You can still experience the therapeutic waters at the Harrison Hot Springs Public Pool. Fed by the natural springs, the pool offers a relaxing soak with temperatures averaging 38°C (100°F). It’s an ideal way to unwind and let the soothing minerals work their magic. Alternatively, you can book a stay at the Harrison Hot Springs Resort and enjoy their beautiful outdoor and indoor pools. You do have to be a guest of the hotel to enjoy these pools.

Harrison Hot Springs boasts a fun village atmosphere with shops, art galleries, and cozy cafes. As you meander through the streets, you’ll find local artisans showcasing their crafts, perfect for picking up a unique souvenir. The village’s lakeside setting provides picturesque views, and includes a gazebo and playground.

Dine at the Black Forest Restaurant

After a day of exploration, satisfy your appetite at the Black Forest Restaurant, a family-owned establishment since 1975. Overlooking the beautiful Harrison Lake, this restaurant offers authentic German cuisine in a cozy, Bavarian-style setting.

Conclude with a Soak in the Hot Springs
