What was your favourite thing to do in Port Renfrew?
Emma: I loved finding fairy lake and getting to see and take pictures of the tiny bonsai tree. It was a beautiful place to begin to learn about photography.
Jack: I liked getting to stay in the cottages at Wild Renfrew, watching the big waves and stormy weather outside.
Shelley: One of my favourites beaches on Vancouver Island is Botanical Beach. I love that in an hour walk you get a little bit of everything – forest trails, rocky bluffs, amazing ocean views, beaches and tidal pools and all kinds of things to see. On our last visit we saw over a dozen different kinds of wild mushrooms.
Robin: My favourite thing is to walk Pacheedaht Beach and climb on the driftwood. When the waves cooperate, I love surfing with the kids for this beach.
