Family Favourites
What was your favourite thing to do on Naxos?
Emma: On our first full day in Naxos, I enjoyed a sweet snack at Waffle House, a recommendation from a family friend. I tried three different flavours of ice cream and loved them all.
Jack: My Naxos favourites were spending the day on the catamaran where I swam to and climbed a nearby island. I also had the most amazing steak dinner at Stou Vasilarakiou.
Shelley: I have a few favourites from Naxos, first the people were the friendliest of anywhere we visited and it felt like we were part of the little Greek town. I also loved the sunsets, whether we got to experience them from the Portara, the local beach, or from our rooftop balcony, they were stunning. Finally, I loved our time at Agios Prokopios beach, the water was a gorgeous turquoise, the sand white and the sun hot. Lots of great memories to remember on the cold rainy days back home.
Robin: My favourite was staying inside Chora town in the Venetian fort. Winding our way through all of the narrow alleyways and pedestrian streets, trying out the local restaurants and getting to experience life in the island town.
